As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Team in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for staff and visitors.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address concerns and provide a visible security-related presence within the manufacturing and industrial location.
