As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible and approachable presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to support a secure environment for all individuals on site.
  • Provide directions and information to visitors and personnel as needed, promoting a welcoming atmosphere while supporting security-related protocols.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to Allied Universal and/or client contacts as necessary.
