You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and incident reporting, and deliver clear, customer-focused communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site and shift.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processing, including checking identification, directing traffic flow, and helping to verify authorization for entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
