Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that always acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry procedures, and support badge, escort, and/or delivery protocols in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Communicate with employees, visitors, and site contacts regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and/or observed issues while maintaining a professional presence.
