As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and help to maintain visitor and/or vendor logs per site requirements.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and service requests to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
