As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points and badging as needed. You will respond to alarms and reports, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of process areas, tank farms, docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and deliveries; control entry and exit in accordance with post orders and client requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, directing traffic and/or crowds, and assisting first responders as needed.
Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance issues; communicate security-related concerns promptly to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
