As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to cover larger areas and respond to needs across the site. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, yards, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing traffic and/or deliveries, and maintaining visitor and vendor logs according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate hazards and/or maintenance concerns observed during rounds, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
