Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and store teams, and communicate clearly while documenting activity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, tenant corridors, loading docks, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, assisting with crowd and/or traffic flow during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Prepare clear, accurate written reports of daily activity, incident response, and patrol observations, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or site contacts.
