Job Description As a Security Officer - Store Patrol Driver in Pearland, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot, while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail and mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support daily operations at the retail location.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site-specific policies.
