Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Document observations and incidents as required by site-specific protocols, maintaining clear and accurate records for Allied Universal and the client.
Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed to support the security-related operations of the location.
