About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reports while supporting a fast-paced, innovative location through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license that meets AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal policies, and/or initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or public response resources as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization where applicable, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and contractor check-in processes in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate noteworthy observations during shift turnovers and/or via established reporting channels.
