You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with strong communication and customer service. Working as part of a team, you will support orderly operations with integrity while contributing to a caring culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and/or direction to visitors and staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entry points, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
