As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with team members and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to a caring and people-first environment that values reliability, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the facility and/or surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to help maintain a secure environment.
- Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries as required by site protocols.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
