As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, equipment areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that require attention.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems when assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregular activity according to post orders.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, communicating relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.
