As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for all occupants. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the government location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support overall security-related operations.
