Security Officer Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Coffeyville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access points, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
- Control access at gates and entry points by checking identification, verifying authorizations, logging visitor activity, and directing drivers and pedestrians according to site instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local responders as directed by post orders.
- Complete accurate, timely reports and shift documentation, including patrol findings, incident details, and security-related observations, using required reporting tools and communication channels.
