Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in East Camden, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will perform routine mobile patrols as a driving post, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns with clear, professional communication. You will remain highly visible, support access control and incident response, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and employee or visitor traffic, verify authorization as required, and direct individuals to appropriate areas while following site rules and post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of appropriate contacts, and coordination with local responders as needed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and report maintenance or operational issues that may impact operations.
