About The Position
As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Caledonia, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor the premises, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related needs specific to a tech, media, or telecom location.
