Job Description As a Security Officer - Dealership Driver Patrol in Lima, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access and perimeter checks, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements is required. Allied Universal values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and access control issues.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility, including production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by location policy.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and directing traffic and deliveries per location procedures.
Monitor cameras, intrusion and/or fire panels, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity per post orders.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports with accurate, timely details.
Assist with badge and key control processes as directed, including documenting issuance and recovery per location requirements.
Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft indicators, unauthorized removal of materials, and/or policy violations and reporting findings to site leadership.
Communicate with Allied Universal supervision and location contacts regarding hazards, maintenance issues, and security-related concerns observed during the shift.
Participate in drills and follow written post orders for emergencies, evacuations, and business continuity events.
