Job Description As a Security Officer - Dealership Patrol Driver in Clinton, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location, you will make routine rounds, monitor key areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle as needed to support patrol coverage and respond to calls for service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or office location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, assessing conditions, and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed by site policy, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
  • Complete timely written reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and support site procedures for alarms, deliveries, and after-hours access.
