As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and the perimeter; document observations and report maintenance hazards or unusual conditions per post orders.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire-related events; contact site leadership and emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and daily shift summaries, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
