Job Description As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements, supported by Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and integrity-driven teamwork.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, corridors, office areas, and the exterior perimeter, checking doors, restricted areas, and unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic flow, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate notable activity to management and oncoming personnel.
