As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and engage with tenants and visitors to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for moving throughout the property. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond in a calm and problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols within the commercial real estate property and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in controlling access to the property by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas.
Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
Collaborate with local emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies at the location.
