As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and provide helpful customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least 5+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, clients, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and complete required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and public areas such as lobbies, entrances, and/or ATM areas, assisting with visitor direction, queue management, and reporting maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Observe and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards, and communicate with site contacts and local responders as directed by post orders.
