As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Government in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. This position requires driving as part of your duties. Requirements

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist visitors and personnel by answering questions and providing directions as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on security-related activities and incidents.
