Requirements

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and incident details, and relay important information during shift handoff.
