About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver helpful customer service with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, so a valid drivers license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required.

Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes; document observations and report maintenance, fire, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or radios; verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; support evacuations, medical responses, and/or coordination with on-site teams and public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete required logs and reports, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes; communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
