As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver helpful customer service with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, so a valid drivers license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes; document observations and report maintenance, fire, and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or radios; verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; support evacuations, medical responses, and/or coordination with on-site teams and public responders as directed by post orders.
- Complete required logs and reports, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes; communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
