About The Position

As a Cleared Security Patrol Driver in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license ‐ Class B w/ Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by monitoring badges and/or credentials, directing visitors to the proper check-in process, and documenting visitor activity per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and assist with basic coordination during drills and/or facility status changes.
