About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Using a Class B license with passenger endorsement, you may support site transportation needs while delivering clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess a valid driver’s license Class B with passenger endorsement.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production or office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor check-in procedures, and directing deliveries to approved locations in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
