About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver and Access Control in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security experience or the equivalent.
- Must be comfortable using a computer and other electronic/tech devices.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Access control/badge experience preferred.
- Alarm panel experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
- Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
