About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in East Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control as needed, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Control access by monitoring gates and/or entrances, verifying identification and/or delivery documentation, and directing traffic flow for trucks and passenger vehicles as required by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical situations, and/or facility disruptions, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete shift documentation, incident reports, and patrol logs, and report maintenance issues such as lighting, door hardware, and fence conditions that may impact security-related operations.
