Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support badge, entry, and escort procedures in accordance with site protocols.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff notes, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues that could impact security-related operations.
