About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access activities, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, a caring culture, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including operational areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter access points.
Monitor access activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized entry and unusual activity at the location.
Support loss prevention and operational continuity by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
