Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support badge access activities. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor and help manage access control points for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by checking credentials, authorizations, and/or entry requirements before permitting access to the location.
- Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and trailer activity, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication and support during security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter areas, to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
