About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site policies and posted instructions.
Assist with traffic and parking flow, observe for hazards or maintenance issues, and communicate needed information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
