About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol and Badge Checks in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear communication. You will deliver a welcoming customer service experience while supporting a professional environment. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with identification checks, badging processes, and/or directing employees and guests according to site requirements.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
