As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to provide reassurance, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and providing directions or guidance to customers and staff.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation procedures or first aid assistance, as dictated by site-specific protocols.
