As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. You will interact with visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within retail or mall locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity according to site protocols.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate and cooperate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or site management when incidents occur.
