As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry as required.
  • Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies, particularly those relevant to food and beverage environments.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by responding to inquiries and offering guidance on security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from site management and Allied Universal protocols.
