As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry as required.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies, particularly those relevant to food and beverage environments.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by responding to inquiries and offering guidance on security-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from site management and Allied Universal protocols.
