As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail distribution locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other security-related incidents.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Communicate clearly and courteously with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
