About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activities, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through proper communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, vendors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or documentation as required, and follow post orders for restricted areas.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying supervisors, assisting with evacuation directions, and documenting security-related concerns observed during the shift.
