Security Officer Patrol Agent
About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong communication and service. Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or after-hours access while following post instructions and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support day-to-day property operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
