Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help confirm that only authorized persons are permitted access, while maintaining professional interactions with employees, guests, and vendors.
- Support closing and opening routines, observe for irregular conditions such as unsecured doors and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate security-related issues according to site procedures.
