About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter areas.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols according to company and client requirements.
Adhere to all Allied Universal and client guidelines while performing duties in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
