As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, bringing our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and a caring culture that puts people first.

Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, lobbies, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify authorization as required, and document security-related activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and service requests, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or site management.
