Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, verify access for employees and visitors, and document observations with clear communication. You will bring a customer service mindset, respond to calls for assistance, and partner with site teams, working with integrity in an agile, reliable, and innovative culture that puts people first.

Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery credentials per site policy; help to maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
  • Complete routine security-related reports, shift activity logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and hazards to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
