As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and interior spaces, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control for employees and visitors. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to issues with a calm, customer-service mindset. Requirements

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials as directed, maintaining truck and visitor logs, and directing deliveries to designated staging areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating notifications per site procedures.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and communicate notable findings to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
