Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism and integrity while working as part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team committed to people first and strong teamwork.

Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government office location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related policies.
Monitor visitor movement, observe public interactions, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
Support orderly daily operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and documenting incidents, observations, and/or response actions in required reports.
