About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This unarmed role also involves delivering strong customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, reliable, and agile team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, following site protocols for entry, exit, and/or credential verification.
Document incidents, daily activity, and security-related concerns in required reports, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate site contact.
