About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Waianae, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, residents, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a resort-style residential location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site management and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with visitor access procedures, and communicate with residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff regarding site rules, directions, and security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of property conditions, and assisting with security-related issues involving guest services, noise complaints, trespassing, and/or policy violations.
